Whitelist Guide for School IT

A one-page reference for school IT teams to allowlist ArielEd through web filters and firewalls.

Print this and send to your school IT team

Teachers: print or forward this page to your IT support team. It contains every domain, port and filter category they need to confirm before staff and students can use ArielEd.

Domains to allow

  • arieled.com
  • *.arieled.com
  • *.vercel.app (build previews — optional, only needed if you let staff test prereleases)

The above hostnames cover both the user-facing application and the API endpoints. ArielEd does not require any other outbound connection from the school network.

Ports

  • 443 (HTTPS) — required

If you need to test access

To verify the school can reach ArielEd, open this URL on a school device: https://arieled.com. If it loads without a filter block-page, the site is accessible.

If you get a block-page, please screenshot it and email it to [email protected] — we can help diagnose which filter and category is causing the block.

Email allowlist

ArielEd sends transactional email (account confirmation, password resets, marking-complete notifications) from @arieled.com via Resend. To ensure these reach staff inboxes, please allow @arieled.comthrough your school's email filter (e.g. add to a safe-sender list in Microsoft Defender for Office 365 or Google Workspace).

SPF, DKIM and DMARC are configured on the sending domain.

Data and compliance

For data protection, GDPR, ICO registration, and sub-processor details, see our For Schools page. A signed Data Processing Agreement is available on request from [email protected].
